Your TikTask data lives on your phone. Backup is how you keep it safe if you change phones, reset your device, uninstall by mistake, or just want peace of mind.

TikTask uses Google Drive for backup and restore. This guide explains it in simple steps.

Before you start

  • TikTask Premium (backup/restore is a Premium feature)
  • A Google account signed in on your phone
  • Internet connection

How backup works (simple)

  • TikTask creates a backup file of your local data
  • It uploads the backup file to your Google Drive
  • Later, you can restore the backup on this phone or a new phone

If you’re premium and TikTask detects an available backup, it may ask: “Do you want to restore your data?” This is the easiest moment to restore because you’re already logged in.

How to create a manual backup

1
Open Backup & Restore
Go to TikTask → Settings → Backup & Restore.
2
Tap “Back up now”
Tap Back up now and choose your Google account if asked.
3
Wait for completion
Wait until you see “Backup completed”. Staying on Wi-Fi is recommended if your backup is big.

  3. Pick a time (every 12 hours, or your chosen schedule)

Common questions

Will my messages be stored on your servers?

No. TikTask is privacy-first: your automation data is stored on your phone, and backups are stored in your own Google Drive account.

Can I restore a backup from a different account?

Backups are tied to the Google account used to create them. Use the same Google account for the smoothest restore.

What if restore doesn’t show anything?

  • Make sure you selected the correct Google account
  • Check your internet connection
  • Try Restore again
