scheduling
If you can schedule an alarm, you can use TikTask.
A TikTask is simple: you write what you want to send, choose who gets it, pick a time, and TikTask handles it on your phone.
ℹ️
Before you start
TikTask runs tasks on your device. Android may ask you to enable a couple of permissions later. That’s normal, and we’ll keep it simple.
Step-by-step
1
Tap Create
Open TikTask and tap Create (or the plus button). This is where every new schedule starts.
2
Pick an action
Choose "Send Message". This tells TikTask what action you want it to do.
2.1. Pick your automation action.
2.2. Choose "send message" action.
3
Write your message
Type a short test message like “Hey, this is a scheduled message 🙂”. For your first try, keep it text only.
4
Choose a channel
Pick WhatsApp for your first test. A channel is just the app where the message will be sent.
4.1. Choose the app you want to send through.
4.2. Pick whatsApp for your first test.
5
Select recipients
Pick a chat, group, or contact. Don’t worry, you can adjust recipients later.
6
Choose when it should run
Pick a time 2–3 minutes from now so you can test quickly. Later, you can use repeat rules for routines.
6.1. Add a schedule info for your task.
6.2. Set a time for a quick test.
7
Save
Tap Save. TikTask will run it at the time you chose.
What should happen at runtime
Because TikTask runs on your phone, Android might ask you to enable permissions so it can run on time. This is normal.
- Enable Accessibility (required)
- Allow Notifications or Overlays (for alerts)
- Turn off Battery optimization (so Android doesn’t stop TikTask)
Make it reliable (recommended)
- ✓ Enable Accessibility (required)
- ✓ Disable battery optimizations for TikTask (important)
- ✓ Enable auto-start / background activity if your phone has it (important)
- ✓ Enable notifications and overlays for alerts (recommended)

Tip
If you use Xiaomi, Infinix, or Tecno, reliability settings matter more. Check the brand guide if tasks run late.
