A big release focused on selection, media, and reliability
Version v1.0.13 is a major update. It upgrades how TikTask selects recipients, sends messages, and delivers attachments, with big improvements to Instagram, WhatsApp, and Signal.
The goal is simple: better selection, full message delivery even when you include multiple attachments, and smoother automations that feel more stable day to day.
Highlights
- Instagram recipient selection is fixed and expanded across chats, new message, and search.
- Instagram DMs now support messaging non-followers, with Search as the preferred selection path.
- Instagram DMs now support sending text with images and videos, including multi-media messages.
- WhatsApp recipient selection is upgraded across chats, groups, communities, channels, and broadcast lists.
- Multi-select on Home makes it faster to pick multiple chats and groups at once.
- Smarter attachment delivery and ordering so recipients receive the full sequence without confusing gaps.
- Signal selection and sending are updated for the latest Signal version, with cleaner recipient names and better attachment handling.
Instagram upgrades
Instagram got the biggest improvements in this update. Recipient selection is now much more reliable, and you have the right path depending on who you want to message.
Recipient selection (fixed and expanded)
- Select from Chats: Groups, Contacts, and Pages.
- Select from New Message: Groups, Contacts, and Pages.
- Select from Search: preferred for selecting non-followers.
DMs to non-followers
You can now send Instagram DMs to non-followers. The Search-based selection flow is designed to make this smoother.
Media messages (text + images + videos)
Instagram DMs now support sending text with images and videos, including multi-media messages.
We also improved the Instagram DM launch flow so TikTask avoids reopening an older screen left in the background. This helps the automation feel more consistent.
WhatsApp upgrades
WhatsApp selection is upgraded, and sending is more stable. You can pick the right recipients more easily and run automations with fewer delays.
Recipient selection (fixed and expanded)
- Select from inside WhatsApp: chats, groups, communities, channels, and broadcast lists.
- Select from New Message: contacts.
- Select from Search: chats, groups, communities, channels, and broadcast lists.
Faster selection from Home
You can now multi-select chats and groups from the Home screen, which makes scheduling for multiple conversations much faster.
Sending improvements
WhatsApp sending automations were improved a lot. They are paced a bit more carefully to avoid spamming, and rare deadlocks were removed to prevent long wait times.
Smarter attachment delivery and better ordering
This update improves how TikTask handles messages that include multiple parts, like text plus several attachments.
- TikTask can split one scheduled message into smaller parts when needed so the full message is delivered reliably.
- Text is handled more intelligently when images or videos are included.
- Documents and audio are handled in a safer way so they do not get ignored.
- When sending to multiple recipients, TikTask now completes all parts for a recipient batch before moving to the next batch. This helps recipients receive the full sequence without long delays.
Attachments also got a design refresh, and you can now open attachments for preview before sending.
Signal upgrades
Signal support is updated to match the latest Signal version, with improvements to selection and message delivery.
- Recipient selection is updated for the latest Signal version.
- Recipient names are cleaned up when selected from the new message screen, which removes strange symbols that can appear in some cases.
- Better attachment handling: text can be sent with the first image or video when possible, remaining media follows, and documents or audio are sent one-by-one for better reliability.
UI and quality fixes
- Fixed a Home screen “latest task” reload issue.
- Fixed an archived chip style issue.
- Improved the attachment design and preview experience.
